Interpretation

Rossion Inc’s interpretation service covers every corner of the world. As well as our extensive in-country interpreters we also transfer interpreters to venues as required.

We will provide the most appropriate interpreter for the project who has the professional, technical or industry expertise to deliver a high quality interpretation service.
Like translation, interpretation is not simply a word for word translation from the source to the target language; it is an act of cultural mediation conveying to the recipient the intellectual and emotional content of the original message.

All of our Interpreters follow standards of ethics, professionalism and confidentiality.

Equipment

Rossion Inc. can provide conference equipment, including overhead projectors, voting booths and audio visual systems for intimate gatherings as well as conferences with thousands of people.
We also provide post-conference services such as transcripts and printed documentation.

Types of Interpretation

Simultaneous Interpretation - the interpreter usually sits in a sound proof booth, listens to the speaker through headphones and understands, edits, translates and then reproduces the message in the target language as it is being spoken in the source language.

Consecutive Interpretation - the interpreter accompanies the client and listens to the speaker in the source language and interprets for the client in the target language. This can be used in a group situation too.

Telephone Interpretation - the interpreter will listen to the source language on the phone and accurately convey the original meaning into the target language. Typically users are law courts, health-care providers and other public bodies with clients with limited second language or writing skills.
